Where do you find entertainment? Where do you find joy? Where do you find the most fascinating story? That's exactly what I'm looking for: the most fascinating story that my life can be, and my journey is far from over. I will not rest until I have the greatest, most entertaining stories to tell, and even after then, I will keep looking for better stories.

About Me

When I was in high school, I walked around my house saying "I'm not a girl, I'm woman of commerce!" I had plans for myself bigger than my body could handle. I didn't let that get in the way, though, or what anyone else thought of that, either. I was ready to train for a career in the fast-paced, palpitating media industry.

In 2012, I came to the Fashion Institute of Technology as a mere freshman with the goal of launching my career in media. Since then, I haven't wasted a single moment in New York City. I started out as an intern for production companies, including Gigantic! Productions (MTV's True Life & Washington Heights, Food Network's Thieves, Inc.) and MY Tupelo Entertainment (Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures & Baggage Battles).

But following that, I wanted to pursue a bigger dream of mine and drive the wheel of my own car, combing my three favorite passions: entertainment, the Internet, and people.

In January 2014, I began pursuing that dream by joining the editorial team for the cultural and nightlife website, Guest of a Guest, as an intern. I wrote fashion content, interviewed influencers, handled social media and got to cover events almost every night and act as a representative for the website – not your average night for a 20-year-old college student. I continued to challenge myself in my writing as a contributor for Elite Daily and The Smart Girls Group. In the fall of 2014, I joined UrbanDaddy as an intern, assisting with content development, editorial research, media sales, and event planning.

In January 2015, my year started off with a huge move – literally – to Paris for a study abroad program, following another deep dream of mine. As much of a self-designated workaholic I am, I knew that college was the only time I had to be selfish. When would I ever have the chance to go hang out in another country again? But six months flew by, and even though I didn't have nearly enough time to fill up my phone with photos, it was time to return to New York, where I started an internship with digital strategy agency, Iced Media.

When I started my account management internship at Iced, I took over a project for one of my designated clients, Kmart Fashion. I used my editorial experience and styling interest to spearhead the account's Instagram strategy and fashion blog. I am sincerely indebted to my super-supportive and trusting team at Iced, and the freedom that I was given to use my knowledge to take over this assignment and work first-hand for an agency.

I don't know if it was my experience coming from an agency, my knowledge of cross-platform advertising or what, but soon after I started working at Iced, I landed an internship in digital ad sales at Nickelodeon for the fall, which leaves me here.

My heart is in my work. I put my soul into perfecting my craft and achieving a career in media. I have found my niche. The best part is that I did it all on my own and organically, and it really is something that I'm proud of. My unfinished journey is yet another tale of "hard work pays off" because it's so true... but maybe a smile and a hair flip could also work.
